Seminarians Installed to Ministry of Acolyte

LATROBE, PENNSYLVANIA - Eighteen seminarians from eight dioceses and one abbey were installed to the Ministry of Acolyte on November 8. The Most Rev. Joseph V. Adamec, Bishop of Altoona-Johnstown, Pennsylvania, presided over the installation, held at the Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica, Latrobe. The installation was held Monday, November 9.

Ecumenical Relations Forum Held

LATROBE, PENNSYLVANIA - "A Spirituality for Christian Unity" was the theme for the Forum on Ecumenical Relations, held on the Saint Vincent campus on October 27. The forum is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Conference on Interchurch Cooperation and is held for Church leaders, ecumenical commission and agency persons and others interested in the unity of Christ's Church. Previous forums were held in the Diocese of Harrisburg.

Pilarczyk, Archbishop of Cincinnati, Ohio, will be the homilist at the Thirty-Second Annual Red Mass in honor of the Bench and Bar, hosted by The Diocese of Greensburg and Saint Vincent Archabbey, College and Seminary. Most. Rev. Anthony G. Bosco, Bishop of Greensburg, will be principal celebrant at the Mass, which will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 15 at the Saint Joseph Center, Greensburg.
