Saint Vincent Seminary is seeking comments from the public in preparation for its comprehensive evaluation visit by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools.
On February 12-15, 2018, Saint Vincent Seminary will host a visit from the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools. Saint Vincent has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, formerly a unit of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, since 1921, and became an associate member of the Association of Theological Schools in 1966 and a full accredited member in 1984. A team from the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools will evaluate Saint Vincent for the purposes of re-accreditation.
The Commission welcomes third-party comments on schools scheduled to receive such visits. The public is invited to submit comments regarding Saint Vincent Seminary to the Director, Commission Information Services at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Comments should typically relate to one or more of the Commission Standards of Accreditation regarding the General Institutional Standards, the Educational Standard, and the Degree Program Standards, available at the following link: https://www.ats.edu/accrediting/standards-and-notations.
All comments must be in writing, must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its graduate academic and ministerial programs, and must be received by January 20, 2018.
